In this video, we show you how to use favorites in Salesforce. An often overlooked feature that can easily help you keep track of records that are high-touch and important. Like bookmarks in your browser, it allows you to conveniently access important records, lists, groups, dashboards, and other frequently used pages in Salesforce. You can have up to 200 favorites in Salesforce. Your favorites can consist of the following types of content:

  • Record home for standard and custom objects, including Visualforce overrides of these record views.
  • Lists
  • Dashboards
  • Reports
  • Report and dashboard folders
  • Chatter groups

Note: You can’t favorite things in setup pages, but you can still access your favorites from these areas.
