In today’s video, we’ll show you how to use Permission Set Groups in Salesforce. Permission Set Groups are ideal when you have a recurring group of permission sets that you’ll need to assign to multiple users. Having this set up is a major time-saver when onboarding or changing current user access. To create Permission Set Groups in Salesforce, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Setup.
2. In the Quick Find Box, type and select ‘Permission Set Groups.’
3. Select ‘New Permission Set Group.’
4. Give your group a name and description, then select Save.
5. Under ‘Permission Sets,’ select ‘Permission Sets in Group.’
6. Select ‘Add Permission Set.’
7. From here, you can select the permission sets you want added to the group. When you’re finished, select ‘Add.’ Then select ‘Done.’
8. Now, when you navigate to individual users in Settings, you can assign the group to them using the ‘Edit Assignments’ button under ‘Permission Set Group Assignments.’
