How to Make Custom Picklist Values in Salesforce

In today’s video, we’ll show you how to make custom picklist values global in Salesforce. As your org changes, you may find that a custom picklist actually needs to be a global one. Luckily, this is a simple change. To make custom picklist values global in Salesforce, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Setup.   
2. Go to the picklist you want to update.
3. Select Edit. 
4. Click Promote to Global Value Set. 
5. Give your new set a name and description if needed. 
6. Select Promote to Global Value Set.
