In this video, we show you an overview of Salesforce’s Global Search feature. Global Search is a quick and accessible way to search records from all objects within your Salesforce instance (with the exception of some custom objects, as defined by your administrator). When using Global Search, you can search the entire database or filter by the object you’re looking to search in. If you have a lot of records in your database, you can also refine results to help find the criteria you’re looking for. Finally, you can even have your administrator customize the layout of the page to display certain fields when searching.
